Objective: To provide financial assistance to deserving children and or spouses of our local military families who might not otherwise be able to attend institutions of higher learning.

General Criteria:

1. The son, daughter or spouse of an active duty military member.

2. The son, daughter or spouse of a military member who has received an honorable discharge, medical discharge, or died while serving in the military.

3. They must be high school seniors, high school graduates or registered as undergraduate students at an accredited college or post high school vocational/technical institution with intent to attend California Community College or technical school candidates and California State Universities, as $_______ will cover semester tuition and supplies

4. Preference to candidates who have demonstrated an active interest in volunteering 

5. Preference to candidates who graduated or will graduate from high school in spite of adverse personal or family circumstances

6. Preferable under the age of 25 year old.

Scholarship funds to be sent, after candidate has registered, to be used only for fees and supplies

Selection Process:
Completed applications to be returned to RHCC Foundation.
Scholarship committee reviews applications and notifies recipients
Recipients must be available to attend the Scholarship Awards events. (Dates depend on event)
No faxed or postmarked applications will be accepted!
